The weather will be a very warm 25 degrees C with a north easterly wind of around 19km/h. Looks like it will be humid too with a chance of rain.
The sixth race in the Lotto Cycling Cup (only two more to go) with Kelly Druyts of TSVL Etixx Guill D’or currently leading, Emma Johansson (Wiggle H5) in second place and Demi de Jong (Boels Dolmans) third. (Points are awarding in a similar way to UCI points, but up to 30 places.) A fairly flat course but very narrow and drawn out uphill kms to drain the riders’ energy.
Contenders are Jolien D’hoore, Amy Pieters (Wiggle H5), Sara Mustonen (Liv Plantur), Jip van de Bos, Janneke Ensing and Hannah Solovey (Parkhotel Valkenburg), Lotte Kopecky and Sofie de Vuyst (Lotto Soudal Ladies), Kim de Baat (Lensworld Zannata Etixx), Sanne Cant (Team Belgium), Gracie Elvin, Sarah Roy and Lizzie Williams (Orica AIS), Kelly Druyts (TSVL Etixx Guill D’or), Marianne Vos, Moniek Tenniglo (RaboLiv), Tetiana Riabchenko, Sara Olsson (Team Inpa Bianchi), Eileen Roe and Kelly Markus (Lares Waowdeals).
Vos surely! If not then Pieters, Elvin or van de Bos. Would love to see Roe up there too.
